Expeditioners Halloween

I have always loved dressing up for Halloween. Animals, historical costumes, Disney characters and comic book superheroes have been my go-to categories, most of which I either made (or helped my mom make) over the years. Even now as a grown-up I’ve still got my sewing machine and a few costumes on hand, including Rogue from X-Men (the Jim Lee version) and an 18th-century dress (complete with panniers and a pair of stays).

But this October was my first Halloween as a published fiction illustrator, and no one could be more excited than I am to see my drawings come to life as REAL kids!! A huge thanks to the friends that sent us these photos, and an even MORE huge thanks to Theo of California and Aedan of Florida for being so inspired by THE EXPEDITIONERS to actually BECOME them for Halloween. I’m over the moon! Thank you so much for sharing in the adventure with us!
